Troubleshooting
Start with the checks below. If the issue continues, send us the page link and the specific file, layer, or run involved.
A search has no results or is missing data
- Check Search Scope. Your uploaded data and Mineflow's public collection are separate choices.
- Review the selected area, companies, projects, sources, data groupings, and assay thresholds. Remove one restriction at a time to see what limits the results.
- For your own files, open Files and check that processing has finished. An uploaded file may contain no supported mappable information.
- For public records, inspect the source and available coverage. The publisher's site can contain material that has not yet been collected or processed in Mineflow.
A map layer is missing or misplaced
- Check that the layer is selected and visible in Results. Adjust opacity and zoom to the layer's extent.
- Allow the layer to finish loading. For satellite imagery, check the selected source and coverage information.
- Compare the original file's coordinates, datum, and map labels with the displayed location. A local grid or incomplete source reference can affect placement.
- Use the layer's reporting action when available. Otherwise, send support the map URL, layer name, source file, and an example of the expected position.
An upload has failed or has not produced usable data
Check the status in Files and inspect any error message. Include all companion files for formats such as shapefiles, ENVI rasters, and geodatabases. For shared cloud links, confirm the link can be downloaded with the access you supplied.
A finished upload is the first step; processing prepares its contents for the map and search. If a file remains in an intermediate state or repeatedly fails, send support its filename and the page link before uploading repeated copies. See Supported file formats.
An expected notification has not arrived
- Check which workflow you configured: a saved alert, a title watchlist, or a paid MTO schedule. Bookmarks and project tracking alone do not set up all of these notifications.
- Review Notification History and the watchlist's Activity or paid run history. Confirm the source has been checked and whether a matching change was recorded.
- For a watchlist, confirm you are on its member list and still have the required access. For a paid search, the completion summary goes to the billed owner.
- Check your email's spam and filtering rules. Send support the watchlist or alert and the expected event if the histories and email do not agree.
A paid MTO search is delayed or has an unclear payment status
Open the existing run and read its latest status. Ordering and delivery can take time. A completed check may have no changes to report and still be chargeable.
For future scheduled runs, the owner can review the payment method, WA title selection, and saved cadence. See Paid WA MTO searches.
An export is empty, unavailable, or appears in the wrong place
- Check the selected layers and that any selected prediction has finished.
- Check the format's supported content. Native Leapfrog and Micromine packages currently cannot include prediction outputs.
- Read the downloaded package's coordinate information and confirm the same CRS, datum, and units in the receiving application.
- Compare known collar coordinates or a recognizable feature before interpreting the imported result. Include the export details and receiving software version in a support request.
Contact support
Email ryan@mineflow.ai with the page link, the file or feature involved, what you expected, what happened, and the approximate time. A screenshot of the issue and the exact error message are useful. Do not send passwords or full payment details.
