Files and Drive
Access, organize, index, and map the files in your Mineflow workspace.
Overview
Files is the workspace for uploaded files, folders, cloud-link ingestions, and sample datasets. It shows what has been added to your account, which files have been indexed, and which geological data categories Mineflow found in each file.
Accessing Your Files

Files displays your folders and indexed files. Each file entry can include:
- File name and format
- Folder and project context when available
- Indexing state
- Detected data type classifications
- Upload or ingestion date
- File size
You can sort and filter this list to quickly find specific files or file types.
Working with Files

You can select specific files to work with them. After selecting files:
- View on Map: Display the files' data on an interactive map
- Indexing actions: Process newly uploaded files or rerun indexing when available
- Sample files: Add curated sample datasets from the upload dialog
- Upload: Add files, folders, or supported cloud links
Data Organization
Mineflow organizes files based on both folder structure and the content identified during indexing. This helps you find the data you need without manually transcribing every table or report first.
Files are organized by:
- Project: Which exploration project the file belongs to
- Data Type: What kind of geological data the file contains (drill data, geochemical samples, geophysical surveys, etc.)
- Ingestion source: Manual upload, folder upload, cloud link, or sample dataset
The classifications are produced automatically from file contents, but the best results come from uploading complete folders with reports, sidecars, maps, and tables together.
Viewing Data on the Map
One of the most important Files workflows is selecting indexed data and viewing it on an interactive map. This lets you inspect drill collars, assays, map layers, and other georeferenced records together.
To view data on the map:
- Select the files you want to visualize
- Click "View on Map"
- The system will display all georeferenced data from those files
From the map view, you can continue into Search, create saved map states, or create 3D visualizations for drill-focused selections.
